Plot

The main heroines

The story revolves around two girls, Misumi Nagisa and Yukishiro Honoka, who fight the forces of the Dark Zone; a dimension of evil that encroached on the Garden of Light. The Dark Zone's power takes the form of the Zakenna, creatures that infect people or items to turn them evil. The Princess of Hope, Mipple, and her chosen warrior Mepple are told to go to the Garden of Rainbows where it is said that they will find the legendary warriors, Pretty Cure.

Nagisa and Honoka have not really spoken to each other, and hardly know the other exists because of their differences. However, when they meet Mepple and Mipple, and are led to each other through them, they are able to use the power of light to transform into Cure Black and Cure White and fight the denizens of the Dark Zone.

Nagisa Misumi / Cure Black

After defeating the first denizen, the girls find a Prism Stone, one of the seven artifacts that protected the Garden of Light from danger, whereas now most of them are in the hands of each of the denizens. Now that they have gotten the first Prism Stone from the hands of danger, they look for the Prism Hopish and its guardian, Wisdom, to keep the stones safe.

Once they have discovered all the Prism Stones, its power takes them to the Garden of Light and repairs most of the damage done by the Dark Zone. However, they have to defeat the Dark King himself, using all of their strength to manage that. Eventually, they get help from the Queen, and the Dark King perishes.

Honoka Yukishiro / Cure White

Later in the series, Pollun, the Prince of Light, is added to the mix. He transforms into what looks like an electronic notebook, and stays with Nagisa in order to help them fight against the Seeds of Darkness, which are creatures that the Dark King managed to make right before he got destroyed. When the Seeds of Darkness awaken, they begin working together in order to revive the Dark King. Eventually, they kidnap Wisdom, but he manages to put the power of the Prism Stones inside of Pollun before he is taken away. Following this, whenever Pollun becomes agitated, he shoots out power, granting Pretty Cure their Rainbow Bracelets. These vastly strengthen them physically and supply them with a new attack. Pollun also has the added ability of premonition. After fighting with Pretty Cure for a long time, the Seeds of Darkness realize that as soon as the Dark King is back in control, they will cease

Together we are Pretty Cure

to exist, and thus plan to take over him and the Prism Stones' powers. Eventually, they are able to fuse together and acquire the power of light, which makes them unstoppable in the fight against Pretty Cure. However, Dark King uses all of his strength to suck the fused Seeds of Darkness within him, and also the power of the Prism Stones. The girls try all their might to fight him, and with the help of Pollun and the Queen, are able to defeat him once and for all.

At the very end of the series, Mepple and Mipple bid a tearful goodbye to Nagisa and Honoka, who beg the two of them not to go. Although they are no longer Pretty Cure, Nagisa and Honoka continue being best friends, and still keep their Card Communes that Mepple and Mipple are now asleep in.

Plot

Pretty Cure Max Heart continues the story when Nagisa and Honoka meet the mysterious Hikari Kujou, revealed to be the "Life" of the Queen with no memory of her life before and powers scattered in the form of the "Heartiel." But as the Pretty Cure duo attempt to find the Heartiel, remnants of the Dark Zone are protecting a mysterious boy suspected to be the "Life" of the Dark King. Cure Black and Cure White fight back these new enemies with Hikari backing them up as Shiny Luminous.

The movie begins with Dark Witch looking at her crystal ball and preparing to steal Garden of Hope's Diamond Line. She orders bat zakenna to prepare the ship. Meanwhile, Nagisa and Honoka are eating at Tako Cafe, and Akane says that if she keeps eating so fast, she'll never find a boyfriend. Nagisa said that she'll find someone who will love her just like she is. Hikari asked if she meant Fujimura-senpai from high school. Nagisa got all blushed and kept denying. Then he accidentally came near with Kimata. Nagisa was all red and had takoyaki crumbs on her face. She tried to see him, and accidentally tuned over the table. When he said hello to her, she barely answered to him. After they ran back to practice, she barely wished them good luck. After he left, Akane-san and Hikari were laughing. Nagisa was offended and almost went away, when Honoka noticed a diamond on her neck. Nagisa returned and everyone said it's really pretty. Akane-san said that

she gifted this to herself for her birthday. While everyone were looking at the diamond, someone with a brown coat and hat was watching them. Then Akane-san gave Hikari a short break. The three went to the playground and kept talking about the diamond. Mipple said that she'd like to have one, and Mepple said that he'll definetely give her one someday. They got into love-love mode, but suddenly returned to their commune forms.

Then the man in the brown coat and hat came. He asked if they are really Pretty Cure. The girls were prepared to fight, and that man kept asking them. Then more voices came from him and he took of his coat. It appeared there were many things inside him and they started attacking Nagisa, Honoka and Hikari. The girls transformed into Pretty Cure and Shiny Luminous. They defeated those things, but it appeared to be normal mascots with long hands. They said that they were testing the Cures because they wanted them to protect their home world, the Garden of Hope. They said that the evil witch is trying to steal their Diamond Line. Mipple, Mepple, and Pollun said that it's probably something similar to the Garden of Light's Prism Stones. They will help them. Hikari said Akane-san will be really busy today. Then Honoka's grandma came, and they had to hide everyone in the closet. She asked to take off the laundry because it's going to rain.

Later, the mascots kept asking them to come right now. They said, that they'll give them charms - the proofs of courageous warriors in the Garden of Hope, which were diamonds. Pollun asked them to go, because he wants to see it. Everyone asked, and Nagisa said that she'll go. The mascots took the girls outside and used their diamonds and a spell "Kaeru Pyoko Pyoko Mi Pyoko Pyoko, Awasete Pyoko Pyoko Mu Pyoko Pyoko" to transport the girls into the Garden of Hope. The girls were in a huge diamond, and the whole Garden of Hope was one huge diamond-shaped planet. When they landed, Mipple, Mepple and Pollun were unconscious. Then Nagisa saw a lot of diamonds outside. Honoka was impressed, and Hikari was worried, because she has to help out at the cafe.

Then Nagisa asked, where is the Diamond Line, and Marquis said, that it's at the end of the road. Nagisa asked will they fly, but Round said, that they can use this only to travel outside the Garden of Hope. Nagisa asked, will they ride something, and Marquis said, that they'll walk, making everyone fed up. Meanwhile, the bat Zakenna informed the Dark Witch, that Pretty Cure and Luminous came to the Garden of Hope. The girls finally reached the palace. They entered inside, and heard something. Marquis said, that it's probably prince practicing his sword, everyone else said, that order plays again. They went to see the prince, and saw him. He looked exactly like Fujipi-senpai.

Later, the mascots showed the girls the protector of the Fountain of Hope, Kero Kero God. It was frog statue. Then the girls entered the palace and met the Queen of the Garden of Hope. The Queen congratulated the girls, and her butler showed girls the Diamond Line - a bracelet, a pendant and 2 earrings made from diamonds. It was very beautiful. Today is the only day in the year that Queen wears it, and it gives hope to all the worlds, and if the Diamond Line is stolen, then all the hope is lost and all the worlds (including Garden of Rainbows) will be covered in darkness. They agreed to help. Later, when the mascots told girls about the party, Square said, that they should be protecting the Diamond Line, not the cures, and went away.

Later, the mascots told girls about the party, and Pollun awakened. He met Marquis and they became friends. Then Honoka ran away to talk with Square, but when they tried talking, he just ran away. Later, all 3 girls got in dresses, and they all looked great. Then Square started making fun of them, that they can't work alone, only by combining their powers. Nagisa got mad at him and ran away. Then the prince came, and asked, did the witch already came. Honoka lied, that she went to patrol outside. Meanwhile, everything started and the Queen came out wearing Diamond Line. She blessed the diamonds of the citizens, and went outside. Then Dark Witch attacked. She flew with a ship and sent some giant bat Zakenna to fight. The mascots tried attacking her, and she transformed front of her ship to shark Zakenna. Without Nagisa, Honoka and Hikari could just watch. Then Hikari transformed to Luminous to fight until Nagisa comes, but she was beaten by one shot... Then the witch stole the bracelet of the Diamond Line and said, that she'll revive Dark King with this bracelet, since all the world will be out of control now. Then Luminous came, saying she won't let this happen, and the witch threw her away. Then Nagisa came, and the girls transformed to Pretty Cure. They tried fighting back, but were too late. The witch flew away. Everyone blamed Black. Mipple and Mepple tried defending her, but Black just apologized to everyone and went away. Black was crying in the balcony, when the prince came. He said, that it's not only her fault. No matter how much he practices swordplay, in the end he just didn't had courage to fight. He gave Black his clover charm. Then Black was walking the hall when White called her. They decided to go and take back the bracelet. Everyone (except Square, who was still thinking of them as burdens) seemed to be forgiven Black. Then, without the Diamond Line, the Fountain of Hope started drying, and the Garden of Hope started being wrecked too. Then everyone flied to the place where the witch is with the same spell. The prince tried to follow them, but he couldn't travel without his charm. They reached the ship graveyard - place where the witch lives, and her bat Zakenna broke the diamond, making them fall. White had to save Black from falling, because she can't swim. Everyone were fighting these bats. One was about to defeat Pretty Cure, but the witch killed it, because she will be her opponent. Square tried punching her, but she moved quickly and used a move on Square. Pretty Cures decided to use Marble Screw Max, but the witch destroyed the move with her dark move. She turned the ship one fire. The girls tried to save everyone, but Marquis was gone. Square blamed Pretty Cure, but everyone else said, that it was the witch's fault. Then the charms reacted to the bracelet. The mascots said, that hen they are not all, they can't fly properly, but still tried flying. Meanwhile, something was shining in the witch's feather collar. It was Marquis sleeping. The cures were fighting the bats. They proceeded to the witch and took the ball with the bracelet. Pretty Cure were battling the witch, while the mascots carried the bracelet into the Garden of Hope, and started carrying it to the palace. Meanwhile, Hikari awakened in her room and saw what was left from the Garden of Hope. Pretty Cure were battling the witch, when Black remembered, that today is a sale at chocolate store, and because of that witch she won't get in time to buy them. They almost defeated the witch, but she fired her move right in front of the girls' faces, making them collapse. Then Marquis came out of the ship to the Black, and the witch flew back to the castle to take back the bracelet. Then the prince came on a horse, and took the bracelet. Hikari came too, and together they carried the bracelet to the palace. Meanwhile, Marquis cried of Pretty Cure. He said the spell, but nothing happened. He started crying again, but the charm prince gave to Black reacted. Then witch came. She sent her bat Zakenna to fight mascots, while she herself headed to palace. Prince and Hikari got to the palace, but the witch was there. Prince tried battling the witch with his sword, but he was too scared. Witch fired at the prince, but Hikari stood in a way. She got the hit and fainted. Then Black and White got mad and stood to fight. The witch summoned dozen of bat Zakennas,

and Black and White defeated them with one blast. Then the witch transformed to her true form and started attacking cures. The girls were weak, but they still stood. White said, that for them to losing is "bucchake arienai". They stood up, but Hikari wasn't doing well. Then Queen said for everyone to give their powers to the girls. They have to believe in the cures and the diamonds. Everyone stood in circle around the cures, and gave them powers. Hikari woke up transformed to Luminous. Witch fired her attack at everyone, but Square stopped the attack. Everyone, including Square, gave the girls their charms. They got up in the sky and transformed into golden versions. They could fly and were too fast for the witch. Then Marquis remembered, how the witch still hurts after Black punching her to stomach, and said this to the cures. They used golden version of Extreme Luminario, and defeated the witch. The Garden of Hope and the Fountain of Hope returned to normal. After a really tearful goodbye, the girls returned back. When Hikari came back, Akane-san said, that it's still her break. Honoka worried, that she didn't took off the laundry her grandma asked. Then Nagisa saw a frog outside. Honoka said, that it's the Kero Kero God. The girls decided to try flying just the 2 of them. They said the spell, but nothing happened. Then they started laughing.

The movie starts with an elderly man, Sage, flying on a giant squirrel. The squirrel kept asking the Sage to not throw the egg he was carrying. The squirrel kept talking, and the Sage fell asleep. The squirrel tried waking up the old man, but when he woke up, he accidentally dropped the egg. It landed somewhere in the Garden of Rainbows. Meanwhile, two beings of darkness, Freezen and Frozen, woke up. At the same time, Akane-san and Hikari were at the mountains selling takoyaki. Akane-san asked Hikari to take some sauce from the van, and she went. Pollun and Lulun were playing with snow, when suddenly Hikari noticed a strange glowing. She went there, and found an egg. It was warm. Then, suddenly, an egg started splittering. A yellow chicken hatched. At the same time, Fujipi-senpai was skiing with Honoka a

nd Kimata. Shiho and Rina were there too. Nagisa was only a beginner, and was skiing at the easiest spot, but still managed to fall. Then Honoka and Fujipi-senpai came to help. Honoka encouraged Nagisa. Later, everyone came to the place where Tako Cafe was, and Hikari showed everyone that chicken. Hikari said, that she couldn't see her parents anywhere, so she took it with her. Shiho said, that if it stayed outside, it might have freeze. Nagisa guessed, that it's a penguin, nut the birdie was annoyed. Honoka explained, that wild penguins live only in southern hemisphere. Honoka said, that it doesn't look like any penguin species she knows. Then Nagisa wanted to call her Poochie, but the birdie was annoyed. Hikari decided to call her Hinata because she was warm. Nagisa said that if she's warm they could just call her Blanket or Heater, and Hinata bit her into the finger. Later, Nagisa was practicing snowboarding, when some girls said that Honoka and Fujipi-senpai look like a great couple. Nagisa tried snowboarding, but then took a break. Mepple started shouting at her. Later, Hikari at Tako cafe was selling takoyaki, when she sneezed and dropped them. She apologized, and Akane-san gave customers new Takoyaki. Hikari went to clean, and saw Hinata practicing to fly with Pollun and Lulun. Even though Hinata was still small, she tried her best to fly. Freezen and Frozen were watching them from behind the trees, and made a snowman zakenna. At the same time, Nagisa decided to give up on snowboarding, and Honoka scolded her, that she is lacrosse star. She said, that it would be fun skiing with everyone, and she wanted to ski with Fujimura-kun. Accidentally, he was going up to the mountain, and heard, that someone said his name. Nagisa got mad, and started running away. Honoka caught her with skis, and they started arguing. Then Mepple said, that he felt a dark presence. Meanwhile, Hikari with Pollun, Lulun and Hinata were running away. A tree chip was about to hit Hikari, but Nagisa and Honoka saved her. The girls transformed to Pretty Cure, and started fighting. Hikari transformed to Luminous too. The Sage and the flying squirrel saw the girls transforming. Zakenna was chasing Hinata. Black held it's punch, and Luminous moved Hinata. White kicked Zakenna, making Black harder to hold. Black repelled the punch, making it accidentally hit White. Luminous noticed, that Black and White are not in sync. She used Heartiel Action, freezing the Zakenna. Black and White used Marble Screw Max, defeating Zakenna. Freezen and Frozen were standing on a tree, and said, that they are the best duo. That evening, Honoka called her grandma, telling, that she's fine. Sanae noticed, that Honoka is a bit sad, and asked, did she got into a fight with someone. Honoka denied, and Sanae was glad. Meanwhile, Shiho and Rina returned from the bath, and said, that Nagisa and Honoka should try it. Nagisa said, that she and Honoka got into fight. She felt bad, but was afraid, that if she apologizes, Honoka won't forgive her. Then she said, that they are fakes. There are true friends and fake friends. It's easy to laugh when you're having fun, but life is not always fun and games. If they get into fight and can't apologise to each other, then they are fakes. Nagisa got mad, and went away. Rina said, that a fight like that is not a problem, because they are true friends. Later, Nagisa and Honoka met in the hall, and, when they were about to apologize each other, but Hinata squeaked. They went outside, and saw Sage hugging Hinata. Nagisa asked him to introduce himself, and he threw a strange seed/egg. By saying spell "Nyokinyoki Nororo, Nyokinyoki Nororo, Nyokinyoki Nororo. Nyoko!", he grew a giant bean. It got up into the sky, and they arrived into some strange place. When Sage said spell "Nyoronyoro Kyero, Nyoronyoro Kyero!", a bean disappeared. Freezen and frozen were looking at them, and took out their wings. They flied up too. Then Sage said, that this is the Garden of Clouds. He is the Sage of this place, and the squirrel introduced as Muta. Hinata started talking, and said, that he's Houhou (he said Japanese word Boku, which means I in masculine form.), and Honoka explained, that Houou is known as Phoenix or Fire bird, is the mythological creature, guaranteeing Eternal life. He started talking, and said, that Hikari is his friend, because she took care of him. Pollun and Lulun were also his friends. Everyone except Nagisa, because she tried giving him strange name. Mepple agreed. Honoka said, that Nagisa didn't ment anything bad. Houou decided to forgive Nagisa, because Honoka is a good girl, and Nagisa is her friend. Suddenly, a ton of flying squirrels came. They hugged everyone. Then Nagisa's stomach started grumbling, and she was hungry. Squirrels decided to treat everyone. Their food was something like sugar cotton. Mipple and Mepple tried, and said it was delicious. Nagisa tried too, and everyone said, that it was delicious. Then Muta explained, that Garden of Clouds is a place where Houou lives. The whole world's warmth and peace in every heart depends on Houou. When Houou's life comes to an end, it lays a single egg. Their mission is to raise that chick to become an excellent Houou. Then Pollun started crying, because Hinata is all alone. He has Hikari and Lulun, Mipple has Mepple, Nagisa has Honoka. And Hinata has nothing. Sage said, that Houou has them, because he is irreplaceable to them. They won't let him be alone, even if it costs their lives. Suddenly, a huge blizzard came, blowing everyone away. Houou/Hinata was trapped in a crystal. Then Freezen and Frozen appeared. They thanked them for guiding them there. Nagisa and Honoka transformed to Pretty Cure. Hikari transformed to Luminous. Black and White tried battling Freezen and Frozen, while Luminous tried freeing Hinata. Black and White summoned Sparkle Bracelets, and used Marble Screw Max Sparkle, and the power was still not enough. Freezen and Frozen used Freezing Blizzard, and froze the whole Garden of Clouds. Meanwhile, in the Garden of Rainbows it started snowing. Freezen and Frozen flew to the strange tunnel. Black and White followed them. Luminous wanted to go too, but the entrance got fallen. She said, that she'll catch them up. Then Zakenna came from boulders. Meanwhile, Black and White entered the battlefield. Black was prepared to fight Freezen, but Frozen planted some ice crystals into White's heart. Black tried calling her, but White didn't reacted. Then Freezen ordered her to fight Black. She started battling, but Black couldn't force herself to attack White. Meanwhile, Luminous was fighting zZakenna, and Sage remembered, that he still has the bean seed. To be less one-sided, Freezen putted some crystlas into Black's heart too. They fought, and White woke up. Black still fought, but then she woke up too, catching White before she fell over the edge. Sadly, the edge borke, and they fell. Meanwhile, in the Garden of Rainbows, Akane-san, Shiho and Rina were inside, saying, that the weather forecast was wrong. Sanae was also watching them from her home, and she felt something was wrong. Suddenly, a beanstalk came, bringing Sage, Muta and Luminous. Luminous tried freeing Hinata, and took out that pillar from the ground, where Hinata was in. Meanwhile, White woke up Black. They apologized each other, and became friends again. Meanwhile, Luminous was running and tried to free Hinata, but both Freezen and Frozen stood in her way. They fired their moves, but Luminous and Hinata were saved by Muta and Sage. They landed on another frozen ground, and Luminous tried freeing Hinata. Then Black and White climbed up, and White broke an icicle, that looks like snowboard. Black and White used it to snowboard, and reached the goal. When Freezen and Frozen were bout to freeze Luminous and Hinata, Black and White hitted them. They said, that they melted the ice with their burning hearts, and there is no way they'll stop their burning hearts. Then Freezen and Frozen used their move to wreck the place around, but Black and White stood and never gave up. Then Freezen asked, why are they trying do hard to protect the Houou, even though they used all their strength. Black said, that this is because Hinata is their friend. Then Freezen and Frozen used their Freezing Blizzard again, completely freezing Black and White. Then they went to Houou, with Luminous, Sage and Muta protecting it. Suddenly, Hinata used his power, and Freezen with Frozen dodged it. They started laugh about his aim, but then noticed Pretty Cure weren't in ice anymore. They got powered-up to Phoenix power, and Freezen with Frozen tried getting Houou, but Black and White captured them. They fought, and Freezen with Frozen were losing. They started shouting at each other, and decided to take their attacks alone. Black and White used Marble Screw Max Sparkle, powered up with Phoenix power. Black said, that these 2 are fakes. When something goes wrong, they blame each other. They tried using Freezing Blizzard, but their timing was bad,

and they were defeated. But then Hinata was already dead. Sage said, that they should have got into the Garden of Light to get a blessing from the Queen, and power of the Prism Stones, but everything was too late. Then Luminous changed to Phoenix form too, and wanted to give him her power. Everyone tried. Hinata opened his eyes. Then Luminous called her Heart Baton, and prepared to do like in Extreme Luminario pose, but instead of firing rainbow beam, she fired light beam to Hinata. He awakened as a huge pheonix. In the Garden of Rainbows, it stopped too. Houou used his power to free everyone from ice, and later flied Nagisa, Honoka and Hikari with their mascots back home. Every animal is Garden of Rainbows watched Houou fly. Then it came time to say goodbye. Everyone were crying, but Pollun the most. He wanted to stay with Hinata. Then Hinata thanked Hikari for giving her powers, and flew away. Pollun tried chasing Hinata, but he already flew out. Next day, everyone were impressed by Nagisa's great snowboarding. Then Shiho said, that they went practicing last night, when they were missing. Nagisa and Honoka slid away. Hikari went to the van, and saw Pollun and Lulun doing something. Plot

The main heroines

The story begins five years prior to the start of the series. Young Hyuuga Saki and Mishou Mai meet each other under the Sky Tree at age nine after following two glowing balls flying towards the tree. Five years later, they meet at the same place again and become the Legendary Warriors Pretty Cure.

Saki is the star in the softball team, and Mai is an inspiring artist. When they meet each other by a coincidence before the Sky Tree, two lights fall down, revealing two small creatures named Flappy and Choppy. They explain to the girls about their duty as Pretty Cure, but on the same day they get attacked by a strange humanoid creature with his fearsome monster. The girls transform into Cure Bloom and Cure Egret, defeated the monster and acquired something later revealed to be a Miracle Droplet. After some thought, the two girls decide to become friends and help Flappy and Choppy save their world named the Land of Fountains. Cure Bloom and Cure Egret can fight physically, setup energy shields and fly freely using spiritual powers, and they are protected by a passive force field. Spiritual powers take in the form of visible light, so the Cures are aura battlers. Their group attack is the Twin Stream Splash. Cure Bloom bears the Flower symbol from Flappy on the back of her gloves, and Cure Egret bears the Bird symbol from Choppy in the same matter. These symbols are always used for launching a group attack and retained when they attain their second form.

Saki Hyuuga / Cure Bloom / Cure Bright

Over time, they have defeated Karehaan, Moerumba, and DoroDoron before confronting two of their best friends, Kiryuu Michiru and Kiryuu Kaoru, the Dark Fall magical girl duo who go to the Land of Greenery in order to spy on Pretty Cure. The four eventually become good friends after spending some peaceful days together and a confrontation where the Cures have refused to fight back. Michiru and Kaoru sacrificed themselves to rescue Saki and Mai from their fearsome leader Akudaikaan and disappeared from the Land of Greenery until their revival by power from the Fairy Carafe.

After Pretty Cure has restored the Fountain of Sky, two mysterious spirits from this Fountain appear, named Moop and Foop, who can collect power of the Moon and power of the Wind. A powerful and treacherous villain Ms. Shitataare appears to be too powerful to Cure Bloom and Cure Egret to handle without upgrade. Moop and Foop supply their powers to the Splash Commune, which provides the Spiral Ring Set to the Cures, allowing them to use the more-powerful Spiral Heart Splash attack.

Mishou Mai / Cure Egret / Cure Windy

Later, Flappy and Choppy are captured and injured by Goyan, and subsequently healed by power from Moop and Foop, resulting in an upgrade in their item form from the Mix Commune to the Crystal Commune, and their ability to use the moon and wind powers collected by Moop and Foop, resulting in a new form for Pretty Cure, Cure Bright and Cure Windy. Cure Bright and Cure Windy can access all of Cure Bloom and Cure Egret's fighting capability plus the ability to use power of the Light and power of the Wind. Their group attack is the Spiral Star Splash, which requires use of the Spiral Ring Set, which is also supplied by the same pair of spirits as their Cure transformation. Flappy and Choppy still retain their ability to collect spiritual power from the Earth and the Sky after this upgrade, so the girls can freely choose and switch between the two forms. They are shown to use both forms in the later half of the show, and they have defeated Kintoleski using their second form. After Pretty Cure have restored all six fountains in the Land of Fountains, Queen Fillia collects powers from the six fountains in the Fairy Carafe and intends to use them for the Fountain of Sun, but Goyan steals the Fairy Carafe and uses such powers to revive the five defeated Dark Fall minions. The remaining power is used to revive Michiru and Kaoru, who have betrayed the Dark Fall and sided Pretty Cure afterwards. After defeating all five recycled minions, the four girls enter the Dark Fall to retrieve the stolen Fairy Carafe and sunsequently fight Akudaikan and Goyan. After Akudaikan gets defeated by the four girls, Goyan kills him and reveals that he is the one who has created Akudaikan and intends to destroy the universe and take all lives with it. Goyan reveals his original form and has a fiery battle against the girls, during which the Land of Greenery is turned into the ruined world and all four girls

have run out of power and are near death. Saki and Mai are detransformed, but they have eventually managed to summon remaining spirits from the Land of Greenery to finish the battle. With the Cures using Flappy and Choppy's Flower and Bird powers and Michiru and Kaoru carrying a portion of Moop and Foop's powers (the remaining portion is in the Cures' Spiral Rings), the four are able to use all four powers together and defeat Goyan with their ultimate attack, the Spiral Heart Splash Star.

The Land of Greenery and the Land of Fountains are restored, the four girls live together in the Land of Greenery, and the four spirits return to the Land of Fountains. The story ends with the four girls heading forward to their future and Saki and Mai holding hands for one last time.

In the morning, Saki oversleeps her meeting with Saki. Mai was waiting for her at their meeting place, but Saki was really late. Mai went to a near clock shop, where old man was winding an old clock. When Saki came to the meeting place, Mai wasn't there. She panicked. Then she went to that store, and saw Mai. The girls hurried over various shortcuts, and a guy asked them about the oldest clock in own. They told him about that old clock at the store, but they didn't got in time to register. They begged for the registration guys to let them in, and he made an exception. Saki said she was in top form, but Mai said she wasn't at all, because she overslept and they were late. Then Kenta came, trying to cheer them on, but the 2 were too stubborn. Then the contest started, and the host called 2 famous singers - Mukai Aki and Uchiyae Yuka as judges. Everyone were there. Saki and Mai were still in a fight, and were nervous. then their turn came. They came on a stage, prepared to sing Ganbalance de Dance song (original ver), but they were too nervous, and together wished, that the time would just stop. And it did. Only Saki and Mai could move. Flappy and Choppy changed to their original forms and could move too. Moop and Foop started jumping on people's heads. Mai scolded them, and Saki said it looks like fun. She wanted to grab some cotton candy and ice cream before they reverted to normal. Mai scolded Saki too, and she said she was just kidding. Suddenly, 2 strange mascots landed not far away from them. They were hurrying, and went to the same clock store. The old clock was shining, and the 2 of them went into the lock. Saki and Mai followed them and went near, but everyone got sucked in too. They were in a giant orange ball, and asked where they are. The 2 mascots from before said, that they are in the Land of Clocks, and asked, who they are and why didn't they stopped. The taller mascot said, that it's OK, because they have spirits with them. They said, that the time had stopped, They have to return the clock spirits to the Infinite Clock, so the time would be restored. There are still a bit time left, so they, the hands, can move. They introduced themselves as Hours, the short hand and Minutes, the long hand. Then the guy from before came. Choppy felt really dark presence. The guy introduced himself as Sirloin, a perfect warrior from Dark Fall. He was surprised, that Saki and Mai heard about them, and said, that they are Pretty Cure. He thanked them for telling about that clock, This was the entrance to the Land of Clocks. The girls got into a fight again. Then Hours and Minutes asked him to return the clock spirits into the clock, or else the time will be stopped. Sirloin said, that this is what he wants - a world to himself. He reminded the girls their wishes - for time to be stopped, to get ice cream before everyone awaken... Then Saki and Mai transformed to Bloom and Egret. They fought Sirloin, but he quickly defeated them. Hours and Minutes started beating his leg, asking to give back Clock Spirits, so tomorrow could come. Then he opened his briefcase, with purple mass coming from it. It sucked everyone inside some giant maze. Sirloin said, that this is endless maze, and there is no way out. Bloom said, that where is entrance, exit is too. Then they realized, that they got split up from Moop and Foop. Meanwhile, the 2 were wandering, and met the Clock Spirits, who also had no idea about the exit. Back at the rest, they were wandering around, and appeared in some strange desert full of clocks. Bloom thought it was the same, and Egret said, that it's somehow different. Then the 2 got into a fight again, because Egret wanted to keep looking for exit, and Bloom was worried about Moop and Foop. Then the 2 Cures went different ways, leaving Hours and Minutes alone. Suddenly, Uzaina came to Egret, and Bloom heard her screaming. She hurried, but Egret wasn't there. She was in one of the clocks, when the door shut. Egret tried knocking, but it disappeared, and she fell. Meanwhile, Uzaina left, and Hours was with fainted Bloom outside. Bloom woke up, and she was hurt. Flappy said, that she can't use her full power, unless she is together with Egret. Then Bloom asked about her, and Hours said, that she must be with Minutes. Flappy said, that he can't feel any presences nearby, and Bloom asked, that she maybe is defeated, and everyone opposed. Bloom blamed herself for what she said, and suddenly reverted to Saki. Same with Egret, who was with Minutes worried about Bloom, and changed back to Mai. Something was wrong with their first memory, because both remembered each other as little girls meeting themselves as teenagers. the little girls ran away from the teenagers. Saki was sitting, thinking she's alone, and can't do anything. Then Hours said, that sitting here won't solve anything. He is worried about Minutes, because he likes to wander off to danger without him around. He asked, isn't she worried about Mai, and she said she is. Hours said to go and help her friend if something happens. This is what means to be a friend. He said he's worried about Minutes. Mai also was thinking alone. She said, that she's worried about the future. She thought, that everything's going to be fine as long as she paints, but she realized, that it won't be enough. Future has tons of possibilities. Saki was the one that learned her that. Minutes asked, why isn't she looking for Saki. He was sure, that both Saki and Minutes are fine. Mai said, that Saki might hate her, but Minutes said, that important is what Mai thinks of Saki, not opposite. All he does is make Hours angry, but he still likes her. He asked, is it fine, that she'll never see Saki again, and Mai remembered all the times she had fun with her. Saki also remembered those things. Hours decided to go look for Minutes alone. Saki asked Flappy, is it possible for her to be Mai's partner again, and Flappy said, that they still are partners. Then Saki stood up, grabbed Flappy and Hours, and then shouted for Mai as loud as she could. Meanwhile, Mai with Choppy and Minutes were searching for Saki, and Mai heard Saki's voice. No one else did. Minutes said, that he is sure, that she heard Saki, because they are partners. Then Mai shouted for Saki too. Saki heard her too. They ran to each other, and Moop, Foop and the Clock Spirits heard Saki and Mai's voices. Saki and Mai met, and jumped to each other, hoping to catch each other's hands, but they didn't made it and were about to fall, when Moop, Foop and Clock Spirits caught the girls. Uzaina was chasing them, when it's "hair" fell down. It was just a wig. And behind that wig on it's head was a door - exit. When Uzaina attacked, Saki jumped down on it's head, handling to one of the door rings. The door didn't open. Then Mai came, and together they opened the door. Uzaina disappeared. Everyone were now back in the Land of Clocks near the Infinite Clock with Sirloin. Everyone from the Infinite Clock went to it to turn the hourglass. Sirloin tried stopping them, but Flappy and Choppy, and later Moop with Foop took his hand to prevent from attacking. Then he surrounded Saki and Mai, together with Flappy and Choppy, who turned to their commune forms, and Moop with Foop, who were in Saki and Mai's hands, with the pile of sand. Then Saki and Mai joined hands. They apologized to each other, and their suits changed to Bright and Windy's, just un-bloomed. The girls said, that they were really scared, and their skirts bloomed. Then they said, that they might just be a burden to each other, but they still want to be together, and their hair changed. They they said, why do they like to be together, and Moop with Foop's power gave them Spiral Ring Set. They said together, that if they are together, they can do it, and they have fully transformed then, breaking the sand pile. Then Sirloin started attacking them like before, but this time the Cures were in harmony, beca

use they weren't fighting. They threw Sirloin away, but he turned to monster, attacking the Cures. But they stood. He asked, why aren't they giving up, and they said, that they will never give up. Our powers as individuals may be small, but if we join hands together, a great power can be born. Sirloin said, that they don't have future, no matter how much strength they put together. Windy said, that the future where you are all alone is boring. There will be no one you can trust. No one else at all. That's why they decided to don't give up and build a future with everyone. They used Spiral Star Splash, together with the power of the Infinite Clock spirits. Sirloin used his attack against Spiral Star Splash, saying, that he's the strongest, and Bright with WIndy said, that they're not perfect. This is why they need to be together. To join hands together, to build a miraculous power. Then, from the Infinite Clock, 12 Zodiacs gave their power to Pretty Cure, resulting in Sirloin's defeat. After that, the Clock Spirits, as well as Hours and Minutes, returned to the Infinite Clock. People at the Land of Greenery started moving too. Saki and Mai now were back at their karaoke performance stage, and music had turned off. The host turned it on again, and Saki with Mai started singing Ganbalance de Dance as the ending song of the movie.

Plot

The Main Heroines

Yumehara Nozomi, a regular student, finds a magical device called the Dream Collet in the library at her school and meets Coco, a creature from the Palmier Kingdom. Nozomi decides to help restore his world, the Palmier Kingdom, which has been destroyed by an evil organization known as Nightmare, by collecting the fifty-five Pinkies in the Dream Collet, which is able to make any wish come true. By making her decision to help Coco, she proves she has the heart to be a Cure, and is given her Pinky Catch, letting her transform into Cure Dream. However, Nozomi cannot fight the Nightmares as the legendary Pretty Cure alone; she must choose a team of four other students to become the legendary warriors known as Pretty Cure. Yes! Pretty Cure 5!

Cure Mint and Cure Aqua, they become Pretty Cure.

While living their double lives as normal middle school students and Pretty Cure, the girls go through a lot of challenges, some of them worse than others. When eventually introduced to Milk, they receive a new power to defeat the now stronger Nightmares, making them able to continue to fight. Eventually, when they have found the fifty-five Pinkies, the girls have to fight the final Nightmares, including their boss, Desparaia. Although close to defeat, the girls continue to fight until Cure Dream realizes that Desparaia has a heart like them, and through her kind heart defeats the last Nightmare. However, this also results in separating the girls from the mascots.

Then from another side, Dark Cure Dream had arrived as she was about to attack.
