I have been thinking what would be removed and what not from this wiki since there are medias that belong more or less here.

So I made this suggested Rules list of what belongs and what doesn't belong on this wiki.

Bear in mind these rules are still in progress and definitely not set in stone as I need feedback. Please let me know in the comments about the rules I write there.

I will also ask MG reddit for feedback too.

Here are the rules I've made:

• Examples are marked with bulletins

What counts as magical girl media.

Witch

Magical warrior

Idol with magical Item or transformation sequence

(These are main examples of Magical girl genre and it's beginnings in history)

• Mahou Tsukai Sally (Sally the witch)

• Magic knight rayearth

• Creamy Mami

Must have female protagonis or have a female character/’s as supporting character with strong focus and powers.(Only male cast can count only if It does look like magical girl themed show with boys)

• High defence club

• Akahori Gedou Hour Rabuge

Can be parody of the MG genre.

• Princess robot bubblegum, Hikari no Yousei 5

The main or most characters that have powers of magic, superhero , supernatural , uses magical item or uses technology that looks like magic.

• Corrector Yui

Normal girl protagonist that has friends or companions having powers. (And the powers are used for solving the conflict)

• Lego Elves

• Unicorn academy.

Girl fights dark forces, help people with their powers or use it for themselves.

A show that is more superhero focused (especially western) with little or no fantasy elements.

Tokusatsu with male heroes (Female side characters doesn’t count)

• there’s too many of them, and listing them here feels like a huge and kinda useless task.

Youtube Content farm media (low effort animation with questionable themes)

Normal girl in weird world, but it’s presented as normal for the characters.

• Alice in wonderland

Colorful girl shows focused on fashion or any other normal things that doesn't include any magic/tech.

Show that only includes magic in later episodes or seasons. (Isn't the main focus or prominent, except magical spinoffs)

• Amphibia

• Best furry friends.

Has or calls show’s creatures magical but the magic is little or not showcased at all by these characters.

Seems like Genie and boy isn't only problem that needs to get out of this wiki. There's just too many shows listed that just have a female character in it and has no magic!

This will take a while to remove the categories from.

Not all of them are like this, But most of them are.

I guess I maybe try specify for this wiki what should belong and what not!

Like what doesn't belong here.

• Girl with just strong imagination.

• Average girl or woman show.

• Isekai or medieval fantasy show with male protagonist and female characters with little or no plot focus (or being a Harem).

• Girl that looks or is different to humans but doesn’t have any special powers.

• Nonexistent made up shows, media.

• Reality shows

• Real life idol groups (has no magic, music videos don't count). Unless it has a MG show.

• Idol show with average girls and not using any tech or magic.

• A show that is more superhero focused (especilally western) with little or no magic, and lacks transformation sequence.

• Magic isn't involved enough into the plot.

Some of you have noticed in years that there's random show called "Genie and boy" that doesn't exist.

This is vandalistic behavior by spamming this wiki by thousands of seasons. aditionally also other ones from the same user. I'm trying to cleaning it up.

I'm not an admin but I'm trying what I can to get this out of the magical girl wiki.

So far orphanizing these pages so it would not show up on categories.

Also adding actual Magical girl show pages, or updating the existing ones.

Because I love this wiki as it has probably the biggest magical girl list in one place.

I found these characters when searching on Google Images. It says they are from the Chinese cartoon Flower Fairy but I don't know the names. Sorry that the second picture is blurry.
